Nepali paper products are generally made from Lokta or Dashying Plant. Lokta (Daphne Bhoula or Daphne Papyracea) is an indigenous plant of Nepal. The bark of Lokta is used as raw material for making different products. It is harvested by cutting the stem from the ground without destroying the root. It regenerates naturally within 2 to 3 years of time. Here we have products made from Nepali paper like Notebooks, photo albums, photo frames, lanterns, envelopes, and so on.
